This site is designed and built by me, Andres Leon. It is a personal place for writing, selected work, and what I am paying attention to now.

Design

The interface is intentionally quiet: a narrow reading column, restrained navigation, and a footer that stays out of the way. Most visual decisions are made in code so the site can keep changing with the writing.

Build

Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Markdoc.
Styled with Sass modules and a small set of global design tokens.
Written primarily in Markdown, with custom layouts for writing, projects, now, about, and this colophon.
Typeset with Geist and Awesome Serif.
